Fellowship
Fellowship Committee:
Purpose: An important aspect in the life of the church is fellowship with one another. The fellowship committee is in charge of coordinating all social gatherings that go on within the church. As well as coordinating arrangements when the need for flowers and cards are to be sent out.
Committee oversight:
-Special Events: This committee will come up with new ideas for fellowship events, and promote these events within the life of the church. The committee is also in charge of refreshments, or meals that may be a part of a special event requested by other committees or the session.
-Meals: Anytime that there is going to be a meal within the contexts of fellowship within the church, the committee is in charge of making sure there is setup as well as clean-up, and if cooks are needed.
-Recreation: This committee will be in charge of planning and coordinating recreational activities among the church.
-Flowers: Whenever there is a need to send flowers (sick, funeral, etc.) this committee is in charge of making sure that flowers are sent to the right place and at the right time.
-In charge of coordinating our monthly fellowships.
-Fellowship is extremely important within the church. It helps us to be with one another as a church family.
