Christian Education
Purpose: In charge of the education of the church. Education through Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, F-4, Youth Group, Children’s Group, Library, and Nursery.
Committee Oversights:
-To direct and supervise the Christian Education programs of the church.
-To train and secure leaders for the following programs:
-Vacation Bible School
-Sunday School
-Nursery Keeper
-To coordinate with the leaders of the church (youth, children, Bible Study) to see if there are any needs within these programs, and evaluate the needs within these programs.
-To oversee what needs we are lacking in the church. Do we need to start a new class or classes?
-To decide when recognition of people is due, (ex. Graduating Seniors) and coordinate this recognition.
Questions to ask:
-Vacation Bible School: When? What will we need?
-Wednesday Night Program: What? When?
-New Programs? New classes that need to be developed?
-Are we adequately providing for the needs of the youth? Children? Adults?
